Explore street maps, discover mapped places and encounter fictional people. Nearby characters appear when your character’s abilities and world allow it.
Find your kind of company.
Meet eligible nearby characters, then keep in touch through private messages and group conversations. Established conversations can continue beyond the map.
Prepare for what comes next.
Manage equipment and in-game money, visit fictional shops and keep track of what your character carries. Roll dice in the app when the moment calls for it.
Earn your next chapter.
Discover accomplishments, earn supported experience rewards and improve your character’s Attributes and Skills. All seven character types have ways to grow.

Try a growing selection of supernatural actions, from Demon manifestations and Hunter sight to Werewolf transformations and a little Changeling magic.
This is a work in progress. Selected powers, conversations and basic combat with fictional people are playable; many tabletop abilities are still being added. Damage to players is currently disabled.

Start in your browser and install when you’re ready.
Open the app.
Visit app.azmodan.net. On iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android or a computer, look for your browser’s Install app or Add to Home screen option, where supported.
Keep your way back.
Create your account, choose a passphrase, then save and verify your recovery file. Keep both safe and private: there is no email password reset for the app.
Choose who you’ll be.
Create or select a character, then enter the live world when you’re ready. Location sharing ends when you leave the world, lock or hide the app. Stay aware of your surroundings while exploring.

Is this the same as the website’s text game?
The app, website and MUD/MUX text game are separate experiences. The website has integrations with the text game; that does not make their accounts or progress interchangeable with the app.
Do I need to install it or share my location right away?
You can start in your browser and create a character before entering the world. Live world play needs internet and location permission. Nearby visibility follows the game’s rules; established messages do not share your location.
Is every World of Darkness power playable?
Azmodan is an independent World of Darkness-style project using adapted Azmodan house rules to bring different supernatural worlds together. Guided creation is available for all seven types; playable powers and activities are being expanded. The roadmap describes future work.
Azmodan is a connected game with account and location features. Read the Azmodan website privacy policy and the app’s location guidance before entering the live world. Never send your passphrase, recovery file or precise location in a support request.
